Calling Boston fashionistas! Have you been dying to rock a gorgeous hat lately? Especially when so few people in this town ever wear hats?
Of course, I'm not talking about Red Sox hats. Those are not worn in the name of fashion (though, to be fair, they do appear in every color of the rainbow). But what about whimsical hats, chic hats, the kind of hats worn to enhance an outfit rather than hide a bald spot or bad hair day?
Not in this city.
Well, some people are fed up with the fashion scene in this town and are planning to change that. The Brunch & More Meetup group is planning a hat revolution on Saturday, November 21. In short, it's an evening of art, food, drinks and meeting people with a great sense of humor.
The one requirement: a hat must be worn – and rocked. Hard. Extra points if you give Aretha Franklin on Inauguration Day a run for her money.
